Freedom Christian Center Vision 2011
Redefining, Refocusing and Redirecting

Foundation of the Vision for Freedom Christian Center:
The “Great Commandment” and The “Great Commission”

 Matt 22:37-40  “The Great Commandment”
37 Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' 38 This is the most important, the first on any list. 39 But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' 40 These two commands are pegs; everything in God's Law and the Prophets hangs from them."

Matt 28:18-20  “The Great Commission”
18 Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: "God authorized and commanded me to commission you: 19 Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 20 Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I'll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age."

Our Motto:  “Let’s Just See What Happens”.  Our focus for 2011 is simple, let’s do what God commands us to do and see what He does.

THE FIVE PURPOSES OF FREEDOM CHRISTIAN CENTER

  1. Love the Lord with all of our heart.
  2. Love our neighbor’s as ourselves.
  3. Go and make disciples.
  4. Baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  5. Teach them to obey.

A GREAT COMMITMENT
TO THE GREAT COMMANDMENT
AND THE GREAT COMMISSION
WILL GROW A GREAT CHURCH!

OUR PURPOSE IS TO WIN THE WORLD FOR JESUS CHRIST STARTING WITH OUR AREA!

Acts 1:8
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

GOD WANTS US TO BE DREAMERS:

Acts 2:17-21
17 "In the Last Days," God says,
"I will pour out my Spirit
on every kind of people:
Your sons will prophesy,
also your daughters;
Your young men will see visions,
your old men dream dreams.
18 When the time comes,
I'll pour out my Spirit
On those who serve me, men and women both,
and they'll prophesy.
19 I'll set wonders in the sky above
and signs on the earth below,
Blood and fire and billowing smoke,
20 the sun turning black and the moon blood-red,
Before the Day of the Lord arrives,
the Day tremendous and marvelous;
21 And whoever calls out for help
to me, God, will be saved."

THE DREAM OF FREEDOMVILLE

It is the DREAM of a place where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, the confused and the addicted can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement.

It is the DREAM of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the world starting with Lawrence County and surrounding counties.

It is the DREAM of Freedomville, a place that houses more than 500 hurting, addicted and hopeless people and watching their lives be transformed into the image of Christ.

It is the DREAM of developing people to spiritual maturity through Bible studies, small groups, seminars, retreats, a Building the Warrior Bible College.

It is the Dream of equipping every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God gave them.

It is the Dream of sending out hundreds of career missionaries and church workers all around the world, and empowering every member for a personal life mission in the world.  It is the dream of sending our members by the hundreds on short-term mission projects to every continent.

It is the Dream of building Freedom Christian Academy.  A fully equipped grade school, junior high and high school.  A school committed to spiritual maturity as well as high academic standards.  A school with a spiritual foundation of the Ten Commandments, a school that is energized with the power of prayer and a school that honors our country with the Pledge of Allegiance and the knowledge of the Constitution of the United States.  And a school with a full sports program.

It is the Dream of Freedom Arena.  A state of the art rodeo arena that facilitates any and all rodeo events that impact participants and spectators for the Glory of God.

THE VISION OF FREEDOM CHRISTIAN CENTER MUST BE KNOWN AND UNDERSTOOD BY THE ENTIRE BODY.

1 Cor 1:10-11
10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters,* by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

THE LONGTERM VISION OF FREEDOM CHRISTIAN CENTER:

Habakkuk 2:2
“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
It all started with a dream. First it was a dream of fulfilling God’s call on my life. Then it was a dream of going into full-time ministry as a pastor. Then the dream changed. I really don’t remember when, but suddenly everything was different. God’s call became more than a job, it became my hearts cry. Churches sickened me with their businesslike approach to ministry and the politics that played a major role in the church. It was time to make a decision to go against the grain and become a God pleaser.
After years of youth and inner-city ministry, God’s plan and direction for my life changed. Like the Prophet Samuel I returned home to minister. Upon returning and founding Freedom Christian Center spiritual warfare began. The Vision to build dorms and to build a discipleship ministry for the lost, hurting and forgotten of America has become a spiritually violent call.  Revival in our area is going to happen, but only as a result of submitting to God in prayer, fasting, studying God’s word and faithfulness to church. Together we will see FCC grow into the powerful church God wants us to be.
This Vision is more than just a good idea to build a church. It is a Vision that thousands must see fulfilled for them to ever have any hope in their lives. Through our commitment to this Vision a multitude of lives will be changed, families restored and an outpouring of God’s power will flood our community. Through our submitting to God, Satan will flee.

FCC Vision Statement

  1. To restore our community by training and equipping the body of Christ for radical ministry.
  2.  To build a body of believers that truly have compassion for the lost and hurting of this world, and the heart to do whatever it takes to see them transformed into the image of Christ.
  3. And finally, to send this new army of believers into the entire world to duplicate this ministry.

MINISTRIES OF FREEDOM CHRISTIAN CENTER

1.) Adult services, Discipleship and Ministry Training
Special people need special attention. That is the focus of FCC. To build a church where everyone and anyone feel welcomed and loved by breaking the spirit of religion and accepting people for whom they are. Services and discipleship programs that are structured to meet the spiritual needs of the people instead of their social needs. And Finally, to build every member to a place of leadership and active ministry.
2.) Identified Youth Ministries
Not just a youth group, but a youth ministry! Creating conferences, revivals, outreaches, youth conventions, camps, and concerts to evangelize America’s youth. Giving them another view of what being a Christian is all about, while meeting thousands of other young people that are facing the same problems and struggles.
3.) Freedom Kid’s Children’s Ministry
Let’s do more than baby sit! The church has fed enough candy to these kids to last a lifetime. How about giving them some real spiritual food. Or how about this. Let’s put as much time into our children services as we do our adult services. It’s time for some big HOLY GHOST filled children services. Let’s give them all we’ve got.
4.) Free Ride Bus Ministry
Weekly outreach to our surrounding communities including nursing homes and  hospitals. A ministry of transportation for everyone including the handicapped. Reaching adults, teens, and children by personal weekly visitation.
5.) Freedom Dream Center
Similar to Teen Challenge this ministry is targeted for all ages. Whether, married, single, with children or without this facility will be a place for those with addictions of all kinds to receive the spiritual healing needed. More than a 12-step program, this will renew the mind, body, and spirit through the Word of God. This ministry will also be open for those being released from prison of any type of incarceration.
6.) Carpenter’s Shop Job Training and Placement Service
To completely restore people we must be committed to doing more than just spreading the gospel. After salvation and discipleship they must become responsible members of our society. Through job training and job placement they will be able to determine their own destiny.

7.)Freedom Christian Academy Christian School / K3 – 12

Our community is filled with High School drop-outs.  These young people will never have an opportunity to have a first rate Christian education or participate in any organized athletic programs.  This school will also be for those families in our area that desire their children to be given more than an education, but a sure foundation of God’s Word.

8.)Master’s Commission / Building the Warrior Bible College

A hands-on discipleship training ground for those called into ministry.  More than  a normal Master’s Commission program, this MC will be used primarily to minister in our dorms and learn to have compassion for hurting people.  Therefore, developing true ministers of the Gospel.

9.)Matthew 25 Ministry

Too many churches are full of goats.  We must become the sheep of Matthew 25:31-46.  This means we must feed the hungry, take in strangers, clothe the naked, visit the sick and those in prison.  This ministry must be the very foundation of FCC.
10.)  Foreign Missions
We are called to fulfill the “Great Commission” and go into all the world.  Missions focus at FCC is going to a new level.  Our monthly Missions giving will be directed to a church or ministry in a foreign land and teams of adults and youth will take yearly trips to the same church building relationships and developing ministers there.
11.)  Freedom Arena
Freedom Arena was built to do more than just entertain; it was built with a purpose.  That purpose is to reach the local country cowboy and cowgirl and introduce them to the King of Kings and Lord of Lord’s.  Freedom Arena is a sanctuary for the Cowboy.

12.)Prayer Ministry

It’s time to pray like never before.  Prayer must become a priority for the church.  We must develop corporate prayer meetings that target the lost and hurting.  Prayer groups that intercede for the vision of FCC, new converts and God’s anointing on all that we do.  Intercessory prayer is the forgotten weapon of the church.  It’s time to destroy the works of the enemy through prayer.

Matt 21:13-14
13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.
