LIVING EXPERIENCE
Each winter, we invite a small group of people to make the village their home for a month or longer. To experience another way of living — slower, closer to nature and more connected to the people and place around us.
At its heart is regeneration. Regeneration of the land, as more hands and hearts come together to tend to it. But also regeneration of ourselves.
Because winter doesn't only ask the land to slow down. It asks us too. To turn inward. To create space. To listen to what we need. To rest, replenish and fill our own cup — until there is something there that naturally wants to overflow.
And from that place, we share.
A pair of hands. An idea. A meal. A skill. A practice. A conversation. Something planted, built or created. Whatever it is that feels genuinely yours to bring.
And perhaps, in living together, we begin to question some of the ways we learned to live apart.
The habits we inherited. The roles we thought we had to play. The ideas of what life is supposed to look like.
Making space to unlearn. To choose again. To shape our days around what we actually value, need and desire — and to practise a culture that reflects that.
Because culture isn't something we provide for you.
It's something we create together.A Culture of belonging.
To the people around you.
To the land beneath you.
And perhaps, most importantly, to yourself.
A different kind of coming home.
Leave something behind.
Bring something home.
Give yourself a month.
Gain a different perspective on life.
